| Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is a prime antioxidant enzyme. Two forms we supply, one which is extracted and purified from the cytosol, it is complexed with zinc and copper, also named Cu/Zn-SOD and this metalloenzyme catalyze the inactivation of destructive reactive oxygen species by converting them to hydrogen peroxide which is then transformed to water and oxygen by the enzyme catalase. While the other, it is Fe-SOD, extract from Alga which is 100% nature, Now Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) has been shown to be useful in joint, gastrointestinal and respiratory health. |
